The Millwright Console

The Millwright Console is a substantial solid wood table with the presence and character of an old European worktable. At 70 inches long, its generous scale makes it a true statement piece for a large entryway, hallway, living area, or open room.

The finish is intentionally light and natural with subtle gray tones, allowing the wood itself to do most of the talking. Visible grain, texture, darker areas, marks, imperfections, and aged-looking stains are all part of the design and give each piece the feel of a well-worn antique rather than something overly polished or new.

The open underside keeps the profile visually light while leaving plenty of usable space for baskets, ottomans, stools, or other storage. Its narrow depth also makes it versatile enough to use as an entry table, sofa table, hallway console, display table, or even a substantial desk.

This is a very large, very heavy piece of furniture built to have real presence in a room.

Made to Order

Each Millwright Console is made individually by Juniper & Bros. Please allow approximately 4–6 weeks for production. Because every piece of solid wood is different, color, grain, knots, darker areas, distressing, texture, and surface markings will vary naturally from the photographs. These variations are intentional and are part of the character of the piece.

Delivery

Free shipping is built into the listed price. Depending on size and destination, your piece may ship by UPS or be delivered fully assembled by an independent furniture carrier. For carrier-delivered furniture, a reliable telephone number is required so delivery can be coordinated after pickup. Production lead time is separate from carrier transit time.

Care

Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh household cleaners and standing moisture. Use coasters or protective pads beneath wet, hot, or abrasive items.

Photography is taken in natural and studio light. Screen settings and natural variation in the wood may cause the finish to appear slightly warmer or cooler in person.
