At Juniper & Bros., every piece is handcrafted from solid wood and built to order. Because we work with natural materials, each piece will have its own unique character and variation.

Natural Wood Characteristics

Wood is a living, organic material. Variations in grain pattern, knots, mineral streaks, color, texture, and other natural markings are expected and are not considered defects. These characteristics contribute to the individuality and beauty of each piece.

Over time, solid wood naturally responds to its environment. Changes in humidity, temperature, and exposure to sunlight may cause expansion, contraction, minor movement, checking, or small cracks. These natural occurrences are normal and do not affect the structural integrity of the furniture.

Finish Variations

Each piece is hand-finished using our proprietary finishing process. Due to the natural variation present in solid wood, stain colors may appear slightly different from piece to piece, even when the same finish is applied.

Product photography is intended to represent the overall appearance of a finish; however, exact color matching cannot be guaranteed.

Character & Craftsmanship

Our furniture is intentionally crafted to showcase depth, texture, and natural variation. We do not attempt to eliminate every knot, grain variation, or naturally occurring imperfection. These elements are part of what make each piece unique and contribute to the character of our furniture.

Leveling & Placement

Furniture should be placed on a reasonably level surface. Variations in flooring may occasionally require the use of furniture pads or minor leveling adjustments. This is not considered a product defect.

Care & Maintenance

To preserve the beauty of your furniture:

• Avoid prolonged exposure to standing water.
• Wipe spills promptly.
• Avoid placing furniture directly next to heat sources.
• Maintain indoor humidity levels when possible.
• Use coasters, pads, and protective coverings as needed.
