The Mercantile Console | Five-Drawer Solid Wood Console Table

The Mercantile Console is a substantial five-drawer solid wood table with the scale and character of an old European worktable. Its very light natural finish keeps the piece quiet and versatile, while the visible grain, knots, texture, and construction details give it the lived-in character that makes each table distinctive.

At nearly six feet long and only 15 inches deep, it makes a strong statement without taking over the room. Five generous drawers provide concealed storage, while the long open lower shelf leaves plenty of space for baskets, books, ottomans, or display pieces. It works beautifully in an entryway, hallway, living area, or dining space, and its size also makes it an excellent display table for a shop or storefront.

This is a substantial, heavy piece of furniture built to feel permanent rather than delicate.

Free shipping is built into the price. Oversized pieces may ship fully assembled with an independent furniture carrier. Delivery is typically 1–4 weeks after pickup from our shop.

Dust with a soft, dry cloth and avoid harsh household cleaners. Use coasters or protective pads beneath wet, hot, or abrasive items.
