The Mercantile Console

The Mercantile Console is a substantial five-drawer table with the scale and character of an old European worktable. Its very light natural finish keeps the piece quiet and versatile, while visible grain, knots, texture, and construction details give it the lived-in character that makes each table distinctive.

At nearly six feet long and only 15 inches deep, it makes a strong statement without taking over the room. Five generous drawers provide concealed storage, while the long open lower shelf leaves space for baskets, books, ottomans, or display pieces. It works beautifully in an entryway, hallway, living area, dining space, or as a substantial display table.

Please allow approximately 4–6 weeks for production. Because each piece is individually handcrafted, final color, grain, knots, distressing, and texture will vary slightly from the photographs.

Delivery

Shipping is included in the listed price. Shipping method is determined by the size of the piece and destination. Smaller pieces may ship via parcel carrier, while larger furniture is delivered by an independent furniture carrier. Once your piece is complete and ready for shipment, we’ll coordinate the appropriate delivery method. A reliable telephone number is required for delivery coordination.

Care

Dust gently with a dry, lint-free cloth. Avoid harsh cleaners and standing moisture; coasters are recommended.
